Ok..in my OOGAGT, I had to replace the blower resistor (Havent we all?) as I had lost fan speeds.
This was about 6months ago. I got one from the dealer and noticed the quiet redesign as well ....
Well yesterday, I was having issues with my fan EXCEPT speed 5.
It was working fine on 1 or 2 and it fogged up so I cranked it to 5.
Defrosted and then back down to 1-2-3 and nothing. NO AIR. No FAN.
ZIP.
so I turned it back to 5 and I have FAN.
Back down again - nothing. Up and down 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 and all over
nothing.
Drive for a few minutes and suddenly (without hitting any bumps) the fan works on all speed settings.
It happened 2x yesterday as well. Today it was FINE.
Anyone else have anything similar happen and if so..what is it?
When the resistor went bad - I lost it all but 5. Never came back...and I cant believe the new $30 resistor is bad already ?
