well i was coming home from work tonight on Big Beaver and i see a chrysler 300 stoped at an intersection and the traffic lights were blinking yellow. i slow down behind him and started honking my horn. all of a sudden i hear a screeching noise behind me and look at my rearview mirror. i see a crossfire sorta drifting behind me trying to switch lanes to aviod rear ending me doing 50+mph. the thing is that there was another car next to it in the lane that it turned in, so when it went past me it went in the inbetwen my car and the car in the next lane(and accord). this scared the accord causing him to loose control and go over the curb into a grased center median. sparks fly everywhere from him going over the curb. then he flyes back into the street and rams the quarterpanel (kinda like a pit manuever) of the crossfire sending it spining 360 and into the center median.

all this because of a probable drunk dude that thought the light was actually yellow.
also the lady in the crossfire is probably also at fault for not noticing that my car was stoped.(probably talking on her cellfone)
im just glad that i wasnt hit since i wasnt wearing my seatbelt at the time and also glad that noone was hurt.

Sounds like you got pretty lucky. I was just on Big Beaver like 2 hours ago.

At least on the East side of the state they know where they're going. Try driving in Holland--it's all blue haired tourists and illegal immigrants.

My story: I was behind a guy who rear-ended the car in front of him as he was accelerating from a stop light (at roughly 35-40 mph). I had just gotten upgraded brakes on the GA and slammed on them when I saw his car buck because there were NO BRAKE LIGHTS, he never hit the brakes! I stopped with about 3 inches to spare and breathing so fast I was almost hyperventilating. The guy behind me couldn't stop and went left over the curb, AND the guy behind him couldn't stop and chose the orange construction barrels on the right. 5 cars involved, I was the only one who came out unscathed. I couldn't believe it.

Wow, sounds like a scary moment there. It's good it all avoided you, that would've been a mess.
