Hey guys, I just installed some Plasma ULTRA White headlights.... THey are model # 9007.. THey have the Xenon Gas technology, and claim to provide 50% for light. They're street legal. I haven't taken the car out yet, but what do you all think of these? Will they be brighter? Are there better bulbs I should get, or have gotten?

I think it's all approx. the same for light output. You will get more light if you go with a 80/100watt and replace the wiring harness. You will get even more like from a HID.

Most Xenon bulbs are just a shift in the light spectrum...running ~4000K instead of the standard halogen of ~3000K. This is what really makes them appear much brighter. Most have a wider range of projection than standard bulbs, so you see more of the road... The filaments can produce more light, but with the standard 55/65watt harness, you can't expect a super huge difference (like HID).

Pretty much, I think it's all personal opinion on what you like. You can search on here for headlights and there are a fair amount of pictures floating around.

I like my silverstars (especially for the price) and once I get the blazer3200s and the silverstar H3s...I should be all set to go. I like the white look, not the blue tinted look to my headlights, that's why I went with these...especially since I don't feel like spending the price for PIAAs.

I am with starfire on this one get a set of silverstars. I had a set of PIAAs for about 9 months before one of them went out. I wasn’t about to sped another $80 on a set of light bulbs. I got the Sylvania silverstrars and they are way brighter and can be bought in individual packs unlike PIAAs. They were only $25 each and haven’t burned out yet. The silverstars combined with my blazers I get flashed all the time and then i give them the brights.
