Okay so I finally got around to installing everything, coolant, oil, everything. Took her out for a spin. Goddammit it feels good. The car has more shakes to it now that the engines vibrations are going through the subframe through the rest of the unibody structure, but that's okay by me, it's better than having the entire motor slop around like a ragdoll. So I'm cool with that.

the Twin Disc I'm using, feels really nice, the only annoyance is the heavy pedal, but I'm okay w/ that. :)

God it feels good to be a gangster and driving again. I have a feeling this car will haul arse.

I'm very interested in knowing what you've done. I'm starting to consider using my GAGT as a daily driver and getting another J with a 2.4, or maybe a GA with a 2.4. Anyway, I'd really like to know just what you got in there, if you don't ming me asking.

It'll fit any 2.4L w/ a getrag tranny, but yeah I am the guinea pig. The thing is touchy for sure, it's loud, it's uncivilized, it's on my car so it fits with the rest of the hoopty.

we'll see the next track days in vegas is August 10th where they don't allow slicks, then August 15th where I CAN run slicks, followed by a StreetWarriorz event august 18th, and the only day I can race before that is at NHRA Sport Compact, which is this upcoming weeknd.

Oh yeah as of a few minutes ago, current state of under the hood.

The battery will be going back under the hood, as will a new MSD DIS2 and MSD coil packs and wires, in the next few months.

my intercooler plumbing is as such..

upper 2.5 lower 2.25

the only thing painted is the powdercoating on my intercooler plumbing. the intake manifold is raw, and just sanded lightly.

It's hanging out on the back of the motor, slapped onto a simple cheap log style manifold. Nothing special. :)

Right now, not expecting anything, just wanting to enjoy the bastard car. I do expect something in the vicinity of a 500hp dyno this year though.

Is it true though? Can you run AC lines through a IC? Because I remember a guy on car domain that had two little nozzles ran from a NOS bottle that would purge NOS out and across or into his IC, and along with that he had the NOS lines to his engine.
