I have a set of Cobalt ACDelco spark plugs 41-981. The car is a 1999 Grand AM 2.4, but I see that 41-942 is the standard ones. Would these plugs work on this grand am?

The plugs from a Cobalt or any Ecotec have a really long reach. Just make sure that the threaded area is the same length otherwise you'll toast your motor.

but for a sidenote. Plugs in a 3400/3100 can be used in a 2.4.
