do the sc/t spoilers have the same holes in the deck lid as a stock gt spoiler? also, what are some quick mods that will make the car look better?

Just added--

what about getting the stock rims powdercoated and then put those red inserts on the spokes from customgrandam.com. My car is red so would it look good or goofy?

Anything "quick" would be more in the range of adding overlays to either the interior or exterior of the car, changing the heads/tails, or putting in grille inserts. Search through the items that either Grafexwerks, Custom Grand AM, PFYC, CCG or any of our sponsors have.

Yer a lot of times on older cars you can see dirt outlining it or whatever. either goo gone will take it off and if not a clay bar will. If the paint is any different, it wont be enough for someone to notice.

An easy quick mod would be to drive the Z instead :angel

personally i wouldnt debage a car over 8 or 9 years old. cuz ur risking the paint being different shades due to weathering. but like on something like what u have, a 2000 i think i saw, u should be good to go unless the paint is already in horrible shape which i doubt it is

I debadged my 99 Se, the paint was the same color, i just had a faint outline of SE that i never removed cuz i never bought a claybar. You will be fine.

Yer I realize they arent a site sponsor but check out customgrandam.com. depending on the color of your car you could get headlight corner overlays, grills, debadge, lots of "quick" mods u can do.

interior lighting from oznium is very inexpensive but im very happy with what i got from there. new pcm is like 150 i think from mp racing. beyond exhaust, intake, and pcm, the $$$ amount seems to shoot up. ported headers are around 300 i think, down pipe is reasonable tho thru zzp, its like 110 or 130 i dont remember exactly. as time goes on, youll see whats out there

but as for apprearence there isnt loads, outside of body kits; may i suggest either SC/T or RK Sport. heads/tails, underglos (prbly arent legal by you either), exhaust tips (with new muffler), rims.
but all this stuff isnt cheap either so there are some ideas, u just have to decide what ur limit is on what u want to spend

you should get a photoshop on those rims, I think it would look goofy, imho.

I don't know if you can powder coat those... aren't they just plastic chrome covers?

I think he is referring to the 5 spoke aluminums that are not chrome.

The chrometecs and the 5 spoke chromes can't be painted unless the chrome plating is taken off. You can however get them chromed to like a diff chrome.

Check this out.. seems expensive though, but you can chrome anything.

I don't think that would be worth it at all. Leave 'em or go aftermarket.

yea definately wouldn't be worth all the time, money, and effort to make stocks look that nice.

i agree.

looking through the site..most of the customers wheels belong to landrovers and benz's. stock 19's turned chrome.

Mark can powder coat rims I don't remember what he's charging per wheel but it's under $100.00 a rim. There's a place in my town that will powder coat rims, I asked them about doing a change on both the 17's I've got and the 18's. For the 17's I asked about matching the color of my car and he said it would be $100.00 to $125.00 a rim, and the 18's I asked about taking the lip of the rim and rremoving the paint there then polishing it up and clearcoating, he said $100.00 a rim on that. I'm gonna have Mark do mine though, I'm sure his prices will be comparable for me.

i can get the powder coating done for FREE. My dads business has a shot blaster that is a 30 foot by 50 foot booth and they do stuff for Powdercoat 2000. So i can get it for free, so should i do it?

Bryan

Honestly, I wouldn't bother. I don't think it would look that good.
