Hi there guys. Is the Cloyes timing chain kit a good one? I mean, it's cheaper than OEM and I have a Cloyes timing chain in my Trans Am without a problem. I saw they sell it here:

Cloyes timing chain kit for Grand Am (

but there are two different part numbers with different prices. The description is the same for both of them though. My car is a 1999 Grand Am SE with the 2.4L engine. The 8th character in my car's VIN is a T. Anyone??

i can get u the exact cloyes number, but i thought those used belts and not chains, i could be mistaken though...

The 2.4L uses chains. I think I'm going to buy the Cloyes kit, since it is about $300 cheaper than OEM.
