For the last month or so ive had alot of road noise from the front of my car. Its basically a loud whirring sound that increases and decreases based on speed. It gets very bad when i turn right to the point of almost sounding like i have low power steering fluid. But turning left makes it a tiny bit better. Ive asked around and a few people thought maybe it was bad wheel bearings in my right front. While a few others mentioned alignment and even one mention of bad belts or possibly cv joints?

Any thoughts or similar experiences??

Its a 99 Grand Am SE 3.4 Liter. Got about 117000 miles on it.

Thanks

I agree with the above posters about the wheel bearing hub/assembly being bad. They seem to be a problematic part in Grand Ams (mine included).

Yet another person from MN here - Roseville :-)

haha sure, it's not that hard. I just tackled springs/struts last weekend, thats easier than I expected. We could have a mod day- I need to re-do my brakes already.
