View Full Version : New Car!
Hello everyone,
As some of you may know i was looking at another Audi A4, only this one was an '05 B6 USP Quattro 6 speed. Well, yesterday i went over to Crown Audi in Clearwater and got it! It has 5k more miles than my old car did, but was the USP so it is loaded with options like Bose, Quattro, 6 speed, 18" wheels, Sline kit, and some other crap. I traded my car in after very little negotiating and walked out very pleased. The funny part is, as i was loading all of my stuff out of my old car, some people came up to me and asked how much it was, AFTER the fact. I could have gone around the block and sold it to them for a few g's more ans we both would have saved money. Oh well, as it turns out, they took my plates off so they could test drive it, and they ended up buying it yesterday as well. Anyways, here are some pics:

No more autotragic fronttrash for me. I went through a quarter tank of gas last night over on Lutz Lake Fern Dr, as it was the closest "fun" street to try the quattro out on. Let me tell you, it is night and day as far as traction and handling is concerned. I don't know how i ever survived with fwd. It is simply amazing. I don't have much planned for it as of now, definately some tint (has to be legal as it is a cop-magnet color :(), the rns-e down the road, and some e-code bi-xenon housings.
I'm excited if you couldn't tell. :D:D:D

Off topic... I know where lutz lake fern drive is now. :D We're drilling a couple wells over in that area right now.
Nice upgrade too! I thought the silver car looked better, but from a performance perspective yeah... I can see where the red car would be so much more fun.

They look great don't get me wrong, just wait till they break

no need, i've got 100k bumper to bumper full coverage audi extended warranty. :D
and actually, i dont know why people are always talking about audi's out of warranty repairs, they really arent that expensive...you can get shops to do work for $50/hr in some places. Everyone always goes by the stealership's $80+/hr rates.
:iconfused
Would you take your car to the stealer for service if it was out of warranty before another local shop? no.

I remember when I went to the stealership one last time before I got rid of the GT. They said to me I havent got an oil change in over 45,000 miles. I just wanted to laugh at the idiots, just b/c I didnt get an oil change there doesnt mean that I havent got an oil change period.

With an audi yes I would take it to the dealership most local shops are clueless to working on german cars, unless you know of a good shop that is. And I wasnt talking about the cost of repairing an audi/vw I was refering to the frequency of repairs on those cars my opinion is a little jaded though I would love to see a VW factory burn to the ground

After having dealt with a Pontiac Dealership for 6 years and now an Audi Dealership for a year, I cringe at the thought of going back to a GM dealer. I had nothing but hassles with Pontiac while the Audi people bend over backwards for you. My wife took the car in for service (completely covered, btw) and they gave her an A4 rental at no cost while the car was being serviced. IMO, it's worth the few extra bucks for the upscale brand just to get the service.

werd...and the only german cars that i know of that have had issues were high mileage early 90's models that werent really taken care of. America for some reason is biased about german cars and repairs. It's actually a lot more rare than it is with domestics to have major repairs/ issues unless its super high mileage.
