I was wandering if anyone who has them or has had them, I ordered mine (Street Glow Gold Series Neo Blue) and I was wondering if you had any problems, trouble installing them, or anything else you wish you would have done differently, and if you had pics I would appreciate it.

no i wouldn't want to do anything diffrently with mine. but i believe you are going to be waiting a while to receive those underbodys since there about 3-4 months on back order. streetglow released bad set of bulbs and there having a hard time keeping up with the recall and just the natural like for blue underbody.

ive never heard of the backorder... ill have to check into that. As for installing nah its not hard, more time consuming than anything. Ive used the included C clamps and ive also used zip ties, both work pretty good for diffrent applications. ive done like 10 sets before it sucks you get dirty but its easy. Only problems ive ever seen people have is they curb check or hit an animal and break the tube so watch out, and ive seen the transformers go bad many many times. Good thing is streetglow replaces them under warranty.

Dont put your transformer whare it will get wet. I did that and when its wet only 2 of the tubes come on. I am going to move it into my trunk. I used the power for the underlighting from my 0gauge power wire in my trunk. just an idea hope it work out for you.

Well Gold series is the best way to go!!!!! Running wire was the hardest thing for me!! I think some of the mounting is a little tricky....But not to bad!!! Took my friend and I like 2 1/2 hours....If you have jack stands or those like ramp things, it well help alot!!!

I installed mine this weekend.
drilled a hole in my gastank and broke a tube. plus the transformer was bad.
never had these problems with my 94, lol.
After swapping the transformer from my old set, and running a wire until i get my tube fixed they run great! white looks sweet on a black car.

I was drilling the floorpan to put the side neon on, the drill caught wierd and threw itself into the tank. it was about 1/8th of a second before i pulled back, too late though.

Cavingman I hope you didn't use regular wire when you hooked it up. That stuff won't withstand 9500V for too long. The wire that the tubes come with are specifically designed to withstand 15,000V.

The shielding on the GTO cable for the neon is alot thinker then standard 4awg cable. Do yourself and your car a favor, just don't use the neon until the other tube comes in, there is a reason they use special cable for neon lighting, it's not for the thickness of the wire itself, it's for the thickness of the outter shielding.

Zipties are your freind :)
these are the holes that are in the ram air shroud on the bottom in the front. They come from the factory like that. They were the perfect size to hug thw wires coming from the neon. I've hit a curb (pulled up too far) and nothing happens, because the plastic has flex in it. It allows the tube to move and not snap.
