My GRAND AM GT tires have been making noise since day 1 (May 26, 2000). I have taken to my dealer "Jim Bradley". They indicated that there was not problem. However, they removed the tires from the rims and applied a black sealer. They kept the car over 24 hours before inflating the tires. I still am having a problem. They don't seem to care. I have 29, 000 miles and have also purchased an extended warranty.

i've heard of this problem. if you have a '99 or '00 gt with crome wheels, the wheels are actually TOO SMALL for the tires. that noise you hear is the tires slipping on the rims. what i've heard that dealers do to "fix" this problem is either sealing them back up, like they did for you, or removing your tires and spraing the insides of the rims with clear coat to try to build them back up. gm hasn't officially issued at tsb for this, but it's known to be a problem.

My 01 GT has been also making the same noises since I purchased it. I have tried to get answers but have failed on every attempt. Anyone...
