if i disconect the batery in my 00ga will the stero still work when i put it back in or will it need to be programed?

Its Battery*....and if you disconnect the battery it restarts the stereo. That means you have reprogram the clock etc.... If you have an aftermarket you will need to redo all of the audio settings to where you want them if you had them previously saved

you can get a 'memory saver' which plugs into your cigarette lighter while your battery is disconnected...it acts a a temporary battery and allows your cars electronics to keep their settings.

I use my jump starter battery pack.
It has a cig lighter socket on it.
& came with a dual ended cig lighter cable, to be used to charge the battery pack from the car's cig lighter socket.

So you just plug the battery pack into the cig lighter socket in you car.
When you pull the car battery out.
The car will get power from your jump starter battery pack, & keep the memories & settings alive.

PS: For these devices to work...
Your cig lighter socket power must be hot at all times.
Meaning...not vehicles that turn off the cig lighter socket power, when the key is turned to off.

check the fuses dude, under the hood on the drivers side
