What are some signs/symptoms that my tranny fluid needs replacing?

I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure the 1st sign would be hard shifting...not sure though.

If your waiting for your transmission to "act up" then it's already to late. Changing your fluids at regular intervals is called "preventative maintenance" for a reason.

i didnt say im waiting for it to act up, im saying that it might already be acting up and im trying to determin the cause

eff you!.....it is a bad thing when there is a trail of tranny fluid behind the grand am from the road to the garage..lets just say that right now.

Here I'll lend my help (sorry for whorin your thread) As soon as you notice any kind of change in your shifting at all, your screwed. Changing fuild does nothing. Start saving........IMO

gotcha, good thing i have an underwriter warenty that will cover everything that will go mechanicly wrong with my car for the next 4 years :applause:
