I just got a 96 grand am GT after roling my 95 hence the name upsidedown95GT. I was woundering how exactly to get out the round air vents seeing as I do not want to do any damage to my new baby.

ok even though i have a 99+, im pretty sure their the same way. Dont quote me on it though, but take a metal coat hanger and bend it so that it has some type of hook. on mine, their 3 tabs per circle, so take a flash light and look in your vent to locate them.. all u do is take the bent hanger and try and unclip the little clips inside and it should release the rings.

like i said, i dont know about yours, but thats how the 99+'s work.

Ok sounds like that should work I knew the tabs were there but had no idea on how to go about removing them thanx MUCH
