Shaving off the ribs on my SE question

Okay, well i should be getting a gt rear end soon, and thinking about removing my SE ribs from the side> now my car is a 2000, would there be any paint fading from behind the ribs? also is there lots and lots of double sided tape there or only like a small stip on top and bottom? anyone have any pics please post, i did a search but didn't come up with anything useful, mostly badge shaving

Lots of tape behind our ribs-- it runs the entire length of the rib section--one strip at the top and one strip on the bottom--it was a pain in the ***to get off but I really like the look

on a side note, if you get a gt bumper, get the gt ribs, the gt front, all gt, dont do it half assed it never looks right

working on it man, i got the gt front end alredy, now getting the gt rear end. U see, i don't want to buy from the states cuz shipping is expensive, so i look for one in canada. I found a gt front last summer in manitoba, prepainted my color, and just found a gt rear in ontario, prepainted my color. Too poor to spend the money to paint other peaces, so i have to look for the once that are already my color. I will be on a search for the gt ribs and stuff, but for now just thinking of removing the ribs on the se
