Edit: I found the Metra VT-GMRC-01 , my question is, will that integrate the monsoon amp into the system? Meaning, will the speakers still have the amp't power or does the harness bypass the monsoon amp? If it does retain the monsoon amp, that is all i need for the install, aside from the dash adapter and all the wiring stuff. correct?

yup the gmrc-01 is all you will need and it will continue to have the speakers powered by the monsoon amp in the left corner of the trunk i am 80 percent sure....
