how hard would this mod be and what would be the TRUE bad things aobut doing it?? i'll let you guys figure out what mod i'm talking about by this pic...!!!

only problem is, how are u going to cleanly take that piece out?, and like i mentioned before, stability, but thats no biggie

just cut it out then have a shop cover it w/ some bondo then repaint. and then maybe have some kinda of cross-beam support something behind that lower part that goes across the bottom!!:D

I unfortunately have a cracked centre piece and have been waiting to get it fixed, but now thanx to you I think I will just cut it out.

I wasn't to sure when I first saw the post cause I thought it would take away from the support of the lower lip, but now my grills will do all the supprting.
