Has anyone ever heard of doing this/tried it. I called BS when i watched, but i guess theres a chance theres some truth to it.

it works - i have mentioned it a ton of times in my years here

it wont pull ALL dents...but it does work

Yea like Kdawg said, it wont pull out all dents....
Also dont be fooled by that vid. The color of the car is a bad choice. If he was to use a dark color car, you would see that the dent is not totally out.

Small door dings and stuff like that , it will work on.

But dont be a fool and touch that dry ice with your bare hands.

i may have to try this..found a new dent on my hood that wasn't there a few days ago..right on the edge too, not sure if i can get it out since one side is the actual edge of the hood..

This is just one technique used for PDR.

As far as it not scratching the paint, BS.
But 99% of the cars on the road today are swirled and scrathed up anyways, ussually so bad that you wouldnt even notice if you added a few more.

For those of us with the know-how and equipment it isnt a problem at all.

Those that dont have the know-how and equipment have a marred and swirled finish to begin with so it most likely wouldnt matter to them and becuase the finish is bad anyways they probably wouldnt even notice it.

If the vehicle in the video was completely perfect and the paint was mint then after rubbing dry ice on it you would definately notice you marred the finish.
