Im typing this laying in a hospital bed on my laptop, after having 3 heart attacks and a stroke last night watching the fiesta bowl!!
All i have to say to all that doubted OSU... including the National Media, the Miami Hurricanes, Coaches, Players, Annalysts, and even some of OSU's own fans....... "Time to EAT $hit"
Whos the National Champ now baby!!!!!!!!!
The best damn game i have ever seen!
Miami definetly underestimated OSU's defense!!!
And the offense did just enough, more then they though we could do!!!
After hearing about Miami's speed all damn week and how they were going to dominate, im all smiles after last nights game and how OSU came out fighting and took the game.
I dont know what else to say, im estatic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I gotta go, time for surgery *LOL*

Signed ... THE BIGGEST OSU FAN EVER!!!!!!!

Ya know, WTF is up with your f***ing media services up there?? I mean Miami never went and said "oh we're so much better and they suck and their defense is overrated"....Miami DIDN'T SAY SH*T!! Maybe 1 or 2 players said "well, we have a good chance of winning" but that's it. If anything, it was OSU saying "Miami is overrated" or "Miami is nothing", or whatever, which was proven wrong because they almost lost. I'm so tired of hearing damn retard Ohio fans (not necessarily you, unless you tip cars :)) that tip over cars and have riots after winning a damn game say "Man they underestimated us and we sure showed them." Give me a break. McGahee got injured, Winslow owned you, and Dorsey got really shaken up after the big hit so he couldn't throw right. Plus the refs weren't calling crap and when they did it was wrong. Complete BS. We thought Miami won like 3 times but the refs ruined it each time. If I was crazy and had a gun I'd go out and shoot those Motherf***ing refs, but they're lucky cuz I'm sane and prolly will never get a gun. I'm that ****ed over it and I'm tired of games being ruined by stupid calls.

The refs calls went both ways. Of course the latter call was a big one, and a little late. But you get out there and try to call perfectly. Those refs have a hard job and they are human. Also injuries are part of the game. Don't say because Mcaghee was injured or Dorsey's arm was messed up. Mcaghee got trucked, Dorsey got hammered. Both hits were legal. Blame it on the offensive line for that one. All that is part of the game. Sometimes the calls go your way, other times they don't. Usually in Championship games, they get some of the best refs available. Could they have been better, yes, but they also could have been worse.

The media did underestimate Ohio St. As far as Miami, they really didn't say anything about Ohio St. other than their speed not as fast. They did say they are a good fundamental team though.

All in all, there is always going to be complaints about refs, I expect that. But they do their best and if Miami wouldn't have had so many turnovers, then they wouldn't even have been in that situation.

I just wanna know how much longer it will be until instant replay trickles down to the big BCS games. At first they were afraid in the NFL, but now IR is like the coolest thing there is. I know it would be too much money to have it for every game, but come on, the big games need high precision, and something to teach the refs how to make better calls. I think the refs are getting much better in the NFL now because of IR.

Yeah I know injuries are part of the game...it just sux that we had the game wrapped up and because of the stupid ref in the end, the game went the other way. We went past the injuries, we got past the turnovers, we got past the BS fans that outnumbered UM fans 20-1 even tho it was supposidly a "home" (cuz of the higher rank) game for Miami or a National game if you want to call it that, we got past the lack of a running game against OSU's amazing defense, and we got past the 10 point defacit. After doing all that, we won the game and a damn ref turned the whole game around. And I'm supposed to sit here and say "yeah, they aren't perfect?" Well if you don't see something completely, and the other refs don't call anything, don't call it, that simple.

Instant replay would be great. But I just don't see that they would just use it for the championship games. We all know they wouldn't be able to afford it during the season. But all these people would complain, because if they had during the season they might have been able to get to a certain bowl game instead of a blown call ruining a run at a championship.

OK, so on the BCS agenda should be:

A) Really really considering a playoff system (though I recently thought about it and it would be hard because of the way the conferences are setup).

B) A replay system for those games.

That would make me like college ball more than NFL maybe.

Im tired of hearing about the pass interference call that kept the game alive, the guy had his hands allover Gamble so get over it. Watch the replay! Admit it to yourself and forget about it. Do you know how many damn times i've seen that call not made in OSU's favor over the years, im not sitting here dwelling on it. Miami is a great team, im not trying to take anything away from them at all, you dont win 34 games in a row unless your great!!! But it cant go on forever, this was OSU's year!!!!
