honestly speaking, it doesnt even matter. most say about 20rms at 2ohms for the amp, so its a pretty much useless amp and nothing to build off of. search and ull find alot more but thats pretty much the general answer.

Well I wanna know so I can take my amp I got pushing my subs now and push my inside speakers, and just take the monsoon amp out, but my amp is 500x2 and dont wanna blow my speakers if they are too small and I should just replace em

Upgrade your door and deck speakers and get another amp for them.

yup. NEVER amp stock speakers. for one theyre crap, and 2 you'll most likely blow them.

get some aftermarket doors and rears and amp those with a 4 channel and you'll be good to go. thats what i did.....plus subs.....

the amp you spoke of, is WAY too high powered for the stock speakers

Yea, I got the stock monsoon now with 2-12's that are way under powered with only 500 to each one, and now getting an amp that'll push em 1650 to each side rms, and I got after market tweets in the tweet pods, and lookin for some 6.5's for the doors and movin my 500x2 rms I got now to my mids and highs, just wasn't sure if it'll blow the stock speakers, and I guess it will, so I need to look for some 6x9's too.

that still too much power for speakers dude!!!!! you'll want like a 50 to about 80rms amp for speakers.

LOL, hell no, not with 2 12's push almost 2,000 watts rms, I'm gonna need high's..

So with your new sub set-up you're saying you're going to be running 3,300 watts RMS?

Yea, I got the subs now with the 500 x 2 rms amp, and I'm getting this week an amp that pushes 1650x2 watts rms and Im putting my 500x2 into the inside of my car.

No that's why I wanted to know if it'd push the 6x9's but if it won't I can push new one's with my old amp.

robt

Well what kind of subs u got cuz I got about 500 watts to each of my subs now and the monsoon highs sound good but once I get my other amp I'm gonna need beeter highs and why do u have a 4 channle amp, u need to get like mine and get a 2 way class d amp, it'll be a lot louder, well depending on ur subs.

haha ok then.....
i got 2 12' MMATS Pro Audio P2.0 subs (350 rms,but as i said earlier im givin em 600each and they ask for more yet). im pushing my subs with a Hifonics Brutish 1206D 1200watt rms mono amp.

then i got infinity 5.25s for my doors and matching infinity 6x9s in rear, they are pushed by a Hifonics Zues 4406 which is 55watt rms x4 at 4ohms.

Sounds nice, I got 2 12's Audiobahn's Flame-Q's that have a pos sony amp now cuz my other one got stolen, and now I'm gettin a 4000 watt Lanzar that pushe's 1,650 watts rmsx2 and then I'm takin the sony amp and pushin my highs with it, as of now with the sony amp I can hear myself coming from over 2 blocks away, and now with 3 times as much I should be heard from the next town, lol.

robt just means he has a MONO class D amp that has to outputs on it. a lot if not most mono amps do have 2 outputs on them. theyre still not 2 channel tho.
