Katzkin Shift Boot?

After reading alot of posts about Redline - it seems as if they are the standard bearer for nice shift boots for the GAGT.

Has anyone attempted to use Katzkin leather for their shift boots, however? I pretty much need an exact match for leather colors. Medium Red from katzkin seems to be a pretty unique version of Maroon.

Thanks for any direction. I have an email in to redline to see if they'll use katzkin leather if I ship it to them.

They use their own leather. I'm sure they can color match it though if you can send them a sample, or at least a really good picture.

REDLINE comes through. Looks like they are going to accept me sending them Katzkin leather pieces (1.5' x 1' piece) to make completely matching shift boots.
