Connect Ipod to Monsoon OEM Stereo

Greets from Canada!
This being my first post, I wanted to say how useful this site has been, and how nice it is to find a community that backs my ride. Can’t even express how happy I am that I got a GT. All in all it’s a great ride, and I'm glad I skipped the Hondas. I love blowing the doors off coffee can exhaust triple decker wing mobiles.

My main problem revolves around audio. The Monsoon stereo is decent for a stocker, but I'm going through blank CDs way too fast.

Q. Can an Ipod connect directly to my stock stereo via a kit or cable? I don’t want to use a corny FM transmitter, I listen to my stereo way too loud to have crappy bass. Anyone that could shed some light would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site. indeed it is very helpful, but street racing is kind of frowned apon on this community, but then again, who doesnt like smoking the R!CE? lol

I really want one of these for my car but I don't want to ditch my XM radio either. I wish there was someway to have both.

yup, many people already have. most just get aftermarket decks and call it a day. moral of the story: SEARCH

Damn that ipod adapter on PFYC is a focking rip. $189 is way too much for that. You're better off getting a cheap aftermarket deck and a $10 connector for the ipod.
