Painting altezza style tails

Has anyone painted the inside of a set of the clear tails, specifically I am looking at a used set of carbon fibre ones, wondering if I could pop off the clear cover and paint the housing white to match my car?? Thanks guys and girls, appreciate the time.

i want to do the same exact thing with my black tycs and i wasent sure if i could do it

Yeah, I dont see why not, I mean the only thing I am not sure about is how well paint will take to the housing, especially the carbon fibre looking ones seem quite smooth and the surface looks like the paint may not hold well to it. I think the finished product would look awesome, sort of like the *** tails.

That looks great, one question, do the reflectors over the bulbs come out? Wouldn't mind throwing a coat or two of nightshades tint on them.

It will hold really good. Also once you put the lenz back on, you dont have to worry about anything. Its just like how I did my headlights. I am 100% positive that it will hold.
