you got any numbers?
1/4 mile time, hp, torque?
very nice, your tranny isn't going to last very long though
GT_turbo
10-28-2007, 06:48 PM
no 1/4 mile times yet or dyno pulls. I expect to be in the high 13's low 14's. Yes its a stock tranny... no it probably won't last too long... but so far its all good.

What's the specs on the turbo? inlet/outlet? and the pipe size for the intercooler?
GT_turbo
10-29-2007, 02:44 PM
Its a T3/T4 ebay turbo. Everyone gave me crap for it, but with the small amount of boost I am running the turbo is great, and reliable. The intercooler is Godspeed. 2.5" piping.

Sounds nice. One thing I noticed though watching the vid of the gauge cluster, you never even dropped below 4000rpm on the shifts. That's pretty good evidence that your trans is slipping already. The clutches aren't catching which allows the engine to stay revved up. Some tuning would probably help that a little bit, but eventually full throttle running like that will take it's toll and those clutches will be toast.
nice. hope nothing blows up.

Did you leave the front header stock?
GT_turbo
10-29-2007, 10:50 PM
Yes, I left the front header stock. I plan on making one just like the rear this winter. The car only has to last till '09 cause I'm saving my penny's for an '08 turbo Cobalt SS.

Nice work... Get the tranny software managed for shifting, maybe some new clutches and you should get some good mileage out of it! WTG!

Was that a V6 or V8 Camaro?
it says above the video Z28, so must be V8.

I don't know Camaros too well, but it was a Z28. If that makes it a V8 then yes is was.
