Can't seem to find double platinum plugs from AC Delco - can you find then anymore? I was told that doubles are OEM on the 3.4L.... Best bet after that is what? I've found some Champions, Autolite, and NKGs, is there are "best" plug?

Well, I put in ACDelco double platinums -- worked for my first 105k miles really well, so why change! My idle/midrange is SOOOO MUCH better, and as an added bonus my SES light went off! Hopefully my gas mileage will get back to what it used to be city driving...

Nice to know it was the plugs and not an O2 sensor or something...

just buy a gauge and check them before you install them. simple and easy.

Mine did, though the place that installed them (cousin owned, free labor!) was told to check first! :D

I switched to NGK Iridiums + new Wires after a LIM/head gasket change/resurface.
They seem superb.
Or it could be the combination of the engine actually working as intended for once.

But I have no problems with them =]
