I took the tint off and then came the fun part, the residue, i tried everything, nothing will take it off, i took the whole glass out and worked on it for nearly 2 hours i used paint thinner, didnt work, razor blade, didnt work, goo gone, didnt work, heating it up, didnt work. It barely removed any, im sure after 100 hours of doing this it will get taken off but I dont have the time nor patience for that. Any other suggestions? IM about to just take it over to the guy who did the tint and see what he suggests but I wanted to see what you guys suggest first.....

A razorblade worked every time for me duder. Steel wool rags worked wonders too. All of that with some type of cleaner or something of course.

Well my mom had this sh!t called miracle water stain remover it worked insanely good, no razorblades required or anything, just put some on a towel and rub at the stuff and it came off so fast I got both windows cleaned in under 5 minutes, if any of you ever have to take tint residue off I suggest that stuff, it worked like magic.

:amraam: ;crap.. But I will only be tintless for a day or 2 :). Got the ticket written off so Im gettin it retinted+ my car lowered monday (if the springs arrive early morning like they are supposed to*crosses fingers*) And I thought tint was a moving violation? and if parked or ur windows are down etc, they cant fvck with u about it?.

what i used was 3M Adhesive Remover. all you do is put some on a rag, wipe the window. and then run a razor blade over it. it should take the tint residue right up. then finish up with window cleaner.

That is very retarded. I bet he/she'd be a nicer cop if he/she looked at lo lcats every once in a while.

lol, I think they had seen me numerous times or seomthing, there was a CHP (california highway patrol) right outside my work like 50 feet from my car, and when I left there was another about 4 miles down the road, and thats the one who pulled me over so meh... w/e... a$$holes -.- While 90% of cops ive been pulled over by its the CHp who are d!cks.
