The Big 3 is in reference to the car's electrical system.

IIRC, the wiring from:
the alternator to battery
battery to ground
engine to ground

Upgrading them to a bigger gauge of wires.

We also upgraded Paul's positive Batt-Main Fuse Block wire since we were already in there...

any idea of what this would cost and how much time it would take?

Wouldnt you just get thicker wire and similar terminals the one ones currently being used, and replace the current wires with thicker ones? Wheres the confusion?

here: this should settle it all. heres wat i did. i got ZZP's 4 gauge alt to fuse box bolt run. then got another shorter 4g from autozone to run from the fuse box to the battery. i used a top terminal to attach the 4g from the fuse box from.
heres a picture:

haha ya. it doesnt fix all my dimming, but it's defintely NOT as bad. im still debating on what i need to stop my problems. i think the overdrive alt pully to make it spin faster might fix it for me... or idk.
final thoughts: do the BIG 3 and see where u stand.

EDIT: ya, i did battery terminal to frame as well. i just kinda assumed he could figure that out....all u do is go from the neg terminal (i got a 2nd top terminal adapter) and clean some metal off, and bolt it down.

haha i know i know. i dont dim THAT bad to warrant an HO alternator really. like i showed some freinds my system last nite, and i just had it idling and cranked decently high on Late nite tip, and my cap never read below 13.9.....that idling only and the engine warmed up (meaning idle at 600rpm)

here's what i mean about a pulley:
