What did you do?

I am doing my best to do as much research as i can so that i can install the best in-dash unit into my car. I would like to know from those of you who have replaced your factory stereo with a in-dash double din flat screen dvd player. If you could please include the name of the product, pros, cons, ease of installation, and how much you paid that would be very helpful. I want to make the best overall desision

just go to a couple private car audio shops and even best buy wont hurt. look at what they all have, try them out and mess around with them a little. look at some reviews on sites like crutchfield.com and sonicelectronix.com. then decide from there how much you want to spend and which you think you like the most.
what we like is prbly not what you will like. because in the end, you're the one that has to use it everyday and look at it in your car.

The double din unit does not fit in your car if I remember correctly, at least not without modifications.

i belive 2000 has a din1/2 not a full din. You will have to modify in order to make it work.

Yea, I just bout an 03 bezel cover so that i can make the flat screen fit. and im think ill just have to move the heating controls down a lil bit. I really only have two choices now that i got screwed by the store i bought my jensen from, i tried to take it back and they said i can only get store credit and i only had it for 4 days so im picking between the Kenwood 6019 and panasonic 6503, im thinking imma go with the kennwood $700 installed.
