Ok i really want hid's for my aftermarket lights because the output with black housings sucks.

And i dont want to throw any svs lights or anything
i also still want the high beam function for inspection.

can anyone tell me what one is the best to get?

I know there's a Pilot kit that uses HIDs for the low and a halogen for the high beams. Not too sure how well that works out but it's something to look into.

would everyone stop saying ozinium. They dont have highs in there kits. That is not what im looking for.

All i have seen so far is pilot's bi-xenon setups and the hi/low ones.

i dont know which one is better

I really dont know about either brand. I just googled the one for you. The best way to research is read reviews. But like everyone says, you get what you pay for. Just look at the warranty with each kit and stuff

ok thanks alot. I havent heard anything about the ones on slick car so i prolly will go with the pilot ones.

i need somthing because with my black housings i cant see deer worth a **** lol

Yea...i have the same housing with the oznium HIDs,i dont need brights. But in your case you have checks,so you kinda need them. I dont like how on the pilots it uses the HID bulb as low beam and then a standard halogen bulb as high. Seems like the low beam will be brighter

well in the bi-xenon it uses hids for both hi and low

Oh,i was looking at the hi/low hid's. Not the bi xenon. Go with the bi xenons,what are they like $290?

Yea then get them. Youll be good, and they dont set off any dash lights. Just post pics when you get them

well what all am i going to have to hook up. like will the ballast just plug into the old headlight plug and then the ballast plugs to the new bulb and thats it?

That statement is wrong. The SVS light is set off due to the DRL's using the high beam wireing as its drl. Now you will argue that "well this kit is a bixenon so it has a high beam" well our cars have a switched ground with its lighting. not only will you have to deal with the SVS light due to not having correct wiring to complete the circuit. Now by switched ground, the low beam shuts off when you turn the high beam on, in wireing terms what on the low beam what was once power may become a ground and what was used as a ground becomes power.

As for passing inspection, i don't know how in depth they go, and how important the high beam function is for you, but by disabling the drls, the light goes away, allowing you to use any hid without setting the light off. To do this there is a how to thread and took me only abotu 15 minutes to do

so if i buy the pilot bi-xenon hid kit and disable my drls buy pulling the relay i will be good to go?

i just got a kit from HIDWorld on ebay. i've head many good reviews about them and my friend has then on his GA. they are wicked bright! they are 9007-2 6000k. these ones im told are almost a plug n play
