My Service Engine light came on this morning on the way to school, and when I got back in my car after school, it came on again. Anyone know why it might be on?

SES is caused by an emissions control module that detects an unusual status.
Most common problem is a gas cap that's not on tight enough. Take off the gas cap and put it back on. Make sure you tighten it until it clicks on. Might take a few drives for the light to reset .
