I got my 2003 GAGT in april. About a week ago i noticed the dreaded lim leak. I just picked up all the gaskets, so now i feel apart of the family here.
Tear down should start on friday or saturday.
I think I have everything needed. I was surprised at how big the lower gaskets are.

Well I just got in from doing the LIM change. Overall it was not hard at all. The biggest thing is keeping all of your nuts and bolts straight. I used sandwich bags with a marker. It worked great.
The only problem I have now is a bad fuel leak. Car started and ran fine except for the fuel leak. Looks like i have something to do tomorrow.

Ummm you may have pulled out the O ring int he fuel line...i did that once and caused a hell of a leak...check that. It runs to the fuel regulator. Hopefully you didnt crack that line.

I did pull the o ring out. then i droped it and lost it. so i went to the auto parts store and all they had were packages of random o rings. I gave it a try and failed. I just dont want to pull all the crap off to get to the fuel line. Thats such a crappy design. 2 hours of work just to get to the fuel line.

also the o rings on the injectors too. If those fell off then that could cause it as well

i didnt pull the injectors. Im pretty sure its only leaking on the return line.

drumking, it looks like you have almost the exact car i have, just different year.
Mine is a black, 2 door sc/t with chrome rims. I think i have every option but onstar.

Well i think im done with the lim change. I had a couple issues with the fuel rail, but I think its taken care of. I drove the car for about 15 min and the temperature holds steady at 200 and there was no leaking when i got back.
The only thing now is I have a check engine light. I will go to autozone tomorrow to pull the code on that. Its probably some stupid sensor or something because it runs good.

Make sure all of your electrical connections are good and tight. Since you don't remove the cam sensors for the LIM fix, you shouldn't have damaged them, but check the wires to make sure you didn't maybe snag one.

One of the wires got pulled out of the plug for the cam positioning sensor, so now i need a new plug. The search is on for it now.
