Ok. I need to amplify 2 Infinity Reference 9622i 6"x9"'s and 2 nfinity Reference 6412cfp 4"x6"'s. The 6"x9"'s are 2-100 watts RMS (300 watts peak power) and the 4"x6"'s are 2-45 watts RMS (135 watts peak power).

How much power should my amp put out for these? And any recommendations?

Aprox 300 watts RMS total. Probably want a 4-channel. But 300 Watts total should be good... 100 Watts/speaker in the 6x9's, 50 watts/speaker for the 4x6's.

i believe you can go with a 2 channel amp as well and it would present the amp with a 2ohm load. this would cost less, you'd need only 1 set of RCAs, and be a little simpler. but you'd lose the fade control.
either that or ya, go with something that will power your small 4x6s with. the 6x9s will just enjoy the extra power.
if you have any doubts about doing this, i amped mine recently and love it. theres worlds of difference.

I would look for an amp that puts out 50-75w x 4 channels. You'll need to keep the gains a bit lower for the 4x6s.

And make sure you're high-pass filtering those 4x6s or you'll blow 'em up in no time! Most amps have HP/LP crossovers built in, or you can use bass-blockers (look for around 150-400hz). If you have a sub, you could HP the 6x9s also, but a a much lower frequency (50-100hz).
