What's up guys??? Been awhile since I have posted on these forums, been learning everything I can about the MS3 since I bought it and I'll tell ya, the aftermarket is crazy for this thing!!! I am posting because it seems I always got good info when posting here.
I need some recommendations on an amp for this sub, never have been very good at car audio, but need a little more sound than the stock system can deliver.

Looking into purchasing one of these subs, dual voice coil 2 ohm.
Thinking I would wire it in series at 4 ohms. Just need recommendations on a decent but not too expensive amp.
It is going be mounted in a small fiberglass enclosure that fits in the jack mount in the back hatch of my car.
Thanks
Matt

look for a small 150-300rms or so Class D amp and you shouldnt need any electrical upgrades at all. i reccomend hifonics because i have 2 of them, and i think they are a good value.
or look at some old school USA made amps. sometimes u can find em for reasonable rates on ebay

I would buy the fosgate p200-2 if your not trying to spend to much money. They retail at my store for about 170. I am sure you can find them on ebay much cheaper. If i was to buy that sub i would run a fosgate p300-1 2ohm stable amp and buy a dual 4 ohm to wire it down to 2ohms. The amp would push out about 450rms to the sub you would just have to adjust the gains.

cadence is a decent brand from what iv heard on other forums. i see that you are more of a counteseur of car audio (ED is not exactly a household name), you could get a matching ED amp too ya knows. im sure you could find this ED amp on ebay for less: http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=45 plus then youd have a matching set up which is kinda nice

Yeah, i am not going for something that will blow you away, looking for sq and the eD subs are known for that.
I thought about that amp but it is more than i want to spend at the moment and haven't found them any cheaper anywhere else.
