You should announce when you have new products. I just browse your site every few weeks and there is a ton of new stuff that nobody here has even acknowledged. It doesnt take that long to come on here and just post something up quick.

I was just thinking the same thing myself ... posting up a new products bulletin, just wish I could have the 99-05 Grand Am turbo kit on there as well as the 4t65eHD conversion, but I suppose I might as well post something. I've put a ton of effort into the new site lately - adding more pictures, improving on product descriptions and options, as well as all the new products we've added lately. I think I will post something up. Maybe I should just keep updating the same post as we come out with more and more products. We've got a few more up our sleeves for the near future. ;)

You're only hurting your own business by not making updates. Spend 10 minutes typing up a well worded advertisement for yourself then copy and paste it to all the forums you sponsor, and change specifics as needed. It would be nice to hear some updates on your shop car as well. For people who dont go on the forums, or hear by word of mouth, thats going to be the easiest way to talk up your work and products. You've got a 4t65 swap, NOBODY has that here. You've got the lexan windows, roll cage, and stitch welded body. Again NOBODY has that stuff. Thats bragging rights if you ask me. Even if someone else gets that stuff done, you are still the FIRST to do it. Getting people excited about this stuff is going to make them want to buy your parts. I know the only reason I ever really got into the car scene is because I saw people pushing the limits of what a grand am could look like, the kind of horsepower that could be had, and track numbers.

Well I posted up in the All Go section. I do appreciate your advice and agree with you completely. It's just tough to find time sometimes when I have a lot of obligations that have to be completed first. I'm making it a priority to get back on the forums and have a presence on this and other forums more than I have in the last year.

that swap is pointless IMO. you could spend that money on a turbo setup instead and have better results.

Very true, but nobody has the balls to touch anything that doesnt bolt on. Thats why everyone wants a 3800 swap. The bolt on aftermarket is much larger.

I have no problem doing a 3800 supercharged swap into a grand am. if someone is interested, I'll do it for a very fair price, then use the first one to figure out what the retail price should be and put that on the website.

So can a 60*V6. Like I said before, nobody wants to touch anything but a bolt on. If they cant stall it themselves, then they wont buy it. MidnightriderZ24(from 60*v6) runs a 12.2 on a completely stock bottom end 3400 with a homemade turbo kit. Is that fast enough? With a mild build of the bottom end, he could bump up the boost a little bit and run 11s all day long.
Why waste your time with an L67 swap if you are willing to spend that much money. Swap in the FWD V8 from the grand prix GXP, or how about a 3900 bored and stroked to 4.3L. Beyond a pulley and anything internally, any parts available for the grand prix arent going to fit on an L67 grand am. You will have to make it all custom anyways.

I would probably do the first one for a discounted price of $5500 including all the parts and labor, then i would figure out how much the price should cost on the website.

There are different ways to make power. There is nothing wrong with 60degree performance, but an L67 is a proven powerplant that reacts well to bolt-ons. I disagree with you on the mods ... most of the mods would fit on a 3800 swapped ga, with the exception of headers, exhaust, cold air intake setups, etc. These are all products that i could produce and sell as options for the swap. Modifications like throttle bodies, camshafts, cylinder heads, rockers, intercoolers, etc would all work the same on a Grand Am as they would on a gtp.

how much difference would the 3500 swap make
MilzyZ34

A stock LX9 3500 engine is rated at 200hp and 220 ft-lbs. A 3400 is rated at 175hp and 205ft-lbs. This would give you an idea of the difference in performance you'd see. You'd also be able to see more gains from any mods you do from the extra displacement.
