My son totaled my 2003 GT RC-T package and all.

I took the engine out of it (only had 23000 miles on it)

Found a 2002 w/ a blown engine and put my engine in it.

Ok now the fans for the rad don't go round. (I did hook up a temp relay so they come on every time the key is turned on though)

I have a intermittent low coolant light that comes on my dashboard (more on then off)

I also have a left over 2 wire plug on the pass side near the alternator that has 1 brown and 1 light tan or light yellow wire on it. The plug itself is red and I cannot figure out where it goes.

Coolant is full. No electricity to the main wires for the Rad fans and that stupid wire plug problem. Just need answers for 3 ?'s.

For the wire plug problem it should be easy for someone with a 2002 SE to just look and see where it connects and get back to me. I am very curious.

Thanks

Bill

I appreciate the ? by why the foul language. I do apologize it was an SC-T package. It was a body package that was on my car when I bought it. Came from factory that way. It consists of a composite performance hood and aero wing spoiler. BTW do you have any ideas on an answer to any of the ?'s?

It may be your coolant temp sensor. If that's the case it would probably explain all your problems. I don't remember exactly where it goes but maybe search on here.

If I know what WT* stands for you should also.

Lets stay on topic. I come here to get answers for the problems I am having with my vehicle. Can we stick to that?

Not meant to be heavy man he's my brother

hows that for lightening up

I just went down and bought a new coolant sensor and my light on the dash went off. Now I just need to check the fans when the car warms up.

BTW the red plug is for the power steering on the 2002. The 2003 did not have that set up. I guess they thought it wouldn't be needed to know your power steering fluid was low.

What do you mean by the fans don't go round? They don' turn on when the engine reaches 200? I would check for any popped fuses.
