Put my SLP on around a month ago, two weeks after got an SES... Took it to dealer, they said it was emissions, O2 sensor picking up increased flow, said it was problem with cat and not covered cause i changed exhaust.... I told them that the cat wasn't messed with and what not seeing as how the SLP is cat back, and I have never heard of SLP triggering a SES... Anyways, the light went away mysteriously and showed up a couple days later... Then it went away again... Now its back and when I'm just sitting there with the engine running, its about 20 degrees hotter than normal, normal being 200... I checked the fans - the two front fans do work, all seems well there, no coolant leaks or anything... Any ideas..? I really don't like taking my car to the dealer, they just dont do quality work...
