Car got rear ended and am looking to buy the part and replace the rear bumper cover myself.

Was wondering if anyone could tell/show me how to replace the bumper? Is it just a few bolts or is it more difficult than that?

Thanks

When I got rear ended their was quarter panel damage, so a shop fixed mine. I would guess there will be several nuts and or bolts to remove and probably a few plastic push in retainers. Remove the tail lights first and start looking/feeling around. Give it a little tug here and there and determine where the connection points are. Don't forget about the wiring to the license plate light.

Make the other driver's car insurance pay for it.
As it is not cheap to replace the complete rear bumper assembly on the GA.

It is not just the rear bumper cover.
But also the foam cushions & steel bumper bar; that are behind the rear bumper cover.
& then you need to paint the rear bumper cover to match.
