Do direct injected engines have a problem with putting too much fuel dilution into the motor oil ?

There have been reports of it on current models of Audi RS4's & BMW 335i's.
& causing the premature killing of the synthetic motor oil.

Is this an inherit problem with direct injection engines; or just these 2 cars ?

& how will this be solved by GM (& other manufacturers) ?
More hp, better fuel economy, & less emissions; but at the cost of wear on the engine ?

I havnt herd of any problems with GM two DI motors. They are so new though, that most cant have more then 40k miles. Either way, both of GM's DI motors are covered under the 5yr/ 100k warranty.

I haven't heard anything about the GM DI engines having problems either. It may just be an inherited problem for those cars only.
