I'm currently experiencing the issue that most 99-01 transmissions had.

Personally i think its the pressure control solenoid

Did GM ever fix that problem?

I searched alldata.com and came up with these results:

a/t clunk when shifting: park/drive/reverse: a/t 04-20-002d jun 06

a/t 4t65e Poor performance/harsh shifting :02-07-30-013e may 05

Also I only have 700 miles left on my GM extended warranty.

Take it to the dealer, sounds like you may be able to get it fixed under warranty. Let them look at it first, then if they can't/don't fix it bring up the TSB's. I didn't know that the 2004 GA's had a 4t65e option. I thouht that they had 4t45e's. I was getting excited that you had done a swap....

Yeah sorry typo.....Its at the dealer now im waiting for a responce.

They are having the "specialist" drive it.

I bet $299 they cant recreate the issue.

(This is from Transmission acting up Thread Nov, 27/07)

I took the car to GM today for the Transmission.
I told them this:
After driving for long periods of time vehicle develops harsh shift, Only happens when hot after driving approx. 2 hours, problem stops after vehicle is turned off and restarted.

Tech Comments:
Test drove and could not duplicate concern. Scanned and got P1811 max adapt and long shift. Monitored freeze frame and shift data and found trans has valve body problem. Best repair is to replace valve body.

$1168.00 just in parts....So later on all just call auto wrecking yards for a second hand transmission with low KM

Well hopefully they actually fix it instead of bull****ing me that they couldnt recreate the problem.!

Because i'll go there and recreate it myself.
