Well with me always wanting to be doing something to my car, I turn to you fellow members to give me some ideas of what I should do next. Here are some pics:

SC/T kit it.
Pop, lock and drop it.

two tone* sc/t kit (different color sides/rear..same color front lip) black would be best
sc/t spoiler too

and drop

First of all, spring is hardly "coming up" ... ITS GOING TO BE 10 DEGREES AS A HIGH HERE ON SUNDAY!

Second, I agree with SC/T and a drop, but depending on where you are in MI that might not be practical. What's your interior lookin like?

Werd. Maybe you can line the interior with Parisian? Swede is overplayed lately. :angel

i know, i know. its just getting to be that time of the year when i start planning my mods. i don't know why i said spring. By the way, I'm in Macomb

my car is dropped on intrax springs already, i guess you cannot see it too well in the pics.

I'd say get the kit but that would mean a new front bumper as well with your crack. But being that low already, the kit sounds riisky. So swap me springs. :)

Naah, if I go sc/t I am going to sit on the ground ;)

yeh if you want to kit it then you'll probably want to go air ride so you can go above regular ride height if you do drive it in the winter.

i would say another option is upgrade the seats. maybe some katzkin covers and heated pads? **** would be nice on our wonderful midwest winters..lol

Your car looks fine how it is. Like you said already, the sct kit and a drop will have your bumper dragging on the ground. Maybe a custom projector retrofit with HIDs or some more performance stuff. Going fast is always fun!

Katskinz or factory leather
leather e-brake boot, shift boot, console lid
tint the tails
sc/t kit

what's the sound system look like?

it looks like nothing much lol but im not really interested in that too much besides maybe replacing the factory speakers

and i already have the ebrake and shift boot

do you mean the factory sc/t spoiler cause i have that or do you mean the "real, true" sc/t spoiler

air ride is big no. i cannot drop THAT much money into my car. seats are something i have always wanted to do, but its soo damn expensive

im not really into the performace because its really expensie and im sure addicting and to be honest its a grand am. i don't think it can go that fast without dropping thousands of dollars into the engine

it is addicting but rewarding too. For what you would spend on a kit you could put some nice motor mods together. If that is the way you are leaning. I think your car looks fantastic as is. A two tone SC/t would be sweet. Or black racing seats would look very nice.

Actually, if you can find a dark green suede, you should maybe do the headliner and those inserts on the doors.... cover the arm rest too.

Ah, couldnt tell from the pic the boots were aftermarket. I still say go for leather seats. Also looks like you have the cloth door inserts. Maybe replace them with leather?

Yea I really would like an sc/t kit, but that would get towards the expensive side I think because I would also have to get a new front bumper cover cause the one i have right now has no support for the front lip, and then pay to get that and the kit painted, fitted, and installed.
I would LOVE to get black leather katskin seatcovers for the front and back, that would be a dream.

Actually, if you can find a dark green suede, you should maybe do the headliner and those inserts on the doors.... cover the arm rest too.

i want to keep the green in the interior to a minimum. i would rather do black and grey in the interior.

i was waiting to do the door inserts until after i figure out what i am going to do with the seats so i don't screw myself

Tinted Tails

i really don't like the look of tinted tails to be honest

Damn yo, nice interior. Wherd u get it wrapped?

what do you mean wrapped? get what wrapped?

yeah id say begin your engine mods if havent already, plus some sparco racing seats would be a nice touch. Nice interior so far. Lets see some engine pics cause thats all you got left unless you wanna go and upgrade your sound and add video....

as stated before, I'm really not into systems. i already have a nice headunit, so really all i would do would be to change the stock speakers for aftermarket.

edit: i plan on doing something with the engine cover this summer (like painting it black or something) and then changing my wire covers

For under the hood I say just the CAI and thats it.

Grreen99GT

that would be nice then i can finally get rid of all that damn ram air waste of space crap tubing

Bryan

mmhm. I also think you should try and get ahold of some green molding stripe vinyl and see what it looks like then if you like it, get it painted.

Grreen99GT
01-16-2008, 09:15 PM
well for sure this summer i plan on getting a new bumper cover and when i was doing that i was going to have them paint the molding stripe green, so i have pretty much made that decision

leave it at that and save some money lol

sc/t if you must

Grreen99GT
01-17-2008, 03:47 PM
well i think sc/t will be out of the question for right now. Right now my plans are to get a new front bumper cover and have that and the black molding stripe around the car painted green and to replace all the stock speakers and to do some work on the interior (who knows what). besides that i will clean up the engine and maybe get a cold-air intake. those are the plans for right now. does that sound like a good direction to head in??

by the way i priced out black leather katzkin seats and they were $764shipped, but i would still have to get them installed. so as its looking, that might have to wait as well.

onesexyga
01-17-2008, 05:47 PM
You could handle installing katskins, im sure. Its very basic, and takes 2 hours tops, with only a ratchet and torque socket. While you're doing it, heated seats are a must. I'd avoid aftermarket seats. Too ricey for such a clean, subtle car. CAI alone wont give you any more power, but i think its worth it for the sound, and how much it cleans up the engine bay.

You just have to trim some of the aluminum around it until it fits; just to little by little until it fits.

or you can just remove the front lip. easier and cheaper.

well have you guys heard anything about the economic relief fund checks that we will be getting as early as may??? it should be about $600 for single individuals and $1200 for married couples. the key thing too is that the u.s. wants us to go out and spend the money.

so this REALLY opens up my options on what to do with my car this summer. an sc/t kit could possibly be in the works now......:-)
