View Full Version : Shuttering and pulling towards right after brake job

My mechanic did a brake job for me since its cold out and I can't work on it in 30 degree weather. After he finished i noticed a vibration above 50 mph took it back to his shop. He said one of the weights must be off so re-balanced the two front wheels.
But the vibration is still there, but now after the re-balance the car pulls to the right!
What else could be the problem?

Yeah I figured that to. I called R1 Concepts today and got a voice mail but thats because of the time difference.

BUMP...................... could it anything else besides the rotors?

honestly it sounds like the rotors to me too. or maybe each caliper was not completely bled (if they were)

Its a wheel shutter, or a shutter during braking? If its during braking its either caliper or rotor related. The way to check is to brake hard. If the slides are off, they'll align under hard braking, and the shutter will go away some. If the caliper slides weren't properly lubed it could also be pulling to one side. Any noise from the brakes when you're not on them? If its warped rotors, they'll stay shaky when you brake hard.

It shutters without even braking , like the whole wheel. Especially on turns.
