hi everyone i have a doubt about the fuel pressure, i owned a 2001 grand gt and a 2002, and heres the doubt the fuel pressure for the 2002 is 52-55psi and the 2001 is 40psi always, is that the right pressure for the 2001 or i need to change the fuel pressure regulator (note i change the fuel pump on the 2001 yesterday but before the fuel pump fail always have the 40psi of pressure ), cause until i know its the same motor and its a lot of diference between the pressure of the cars

My 01 runs slightly above 40 PSI at idle and mild acceleration. Anything over 70% throttle and my gauge goes up to the 50-55 PSI range.

My 2000 used to run at 48psi at idle. Up in the 50's under acceleration.

Is it leaking gas? If its not then you dont need to change it.
