How bad is bad enough?

I need to get the tranny looked at. Under 75%or greater acceleration my shift between 1st and second is awful! Sounds like I am banging the rev limiter but I have the stock pcm so that would be damn near impossible. Are they going to say that it is not bad enough to worry about? I want the extended warrenty to cover this cuz I don't have the money for a new tranny! Any ideas or help would be great?

You shouldn't have a problem having that repaired under the extended warranty. I had a similar problem with my previous car (a '93 Topaz) which had a GM extended warranty (I know, I know) and they changed it without a question. They even sent me to a Ford dealer and paid for everything.
