Hey guys.
I totalled my 2002 Grand Am GT and am not getting another one. I only get $10,000 out of it or so so I'm looking at a 97 Grand Prix GT now. I put a lot of work into my car and a lot of money too and can't afford to get another one so I'm looking at a '97 Grand Prix GT. I also am looking at a '96 Firebird Trans Am. Well its been fun and hope you guys have fun... Good luck and don't fall asleep behind the wheel going 65.... BAD THINGS HAPPEN!
:(

No luck finding anything good yet. All the Grand Prix's I find have high mileage and someone bought my Firebird I wanted (REALLY NICE CONDITION TOO, I test drove it and loved it, but didn't throw any money down to save it for me and someone else took it!) I am currently looking for a Mustang GT (V8) with under 60,000 miles, but the only ones I have found have been in accidents or are $1000 too much for me. I don't want to take out a loan for a car either so its been hard. I could always get another Grand Am, but I want something else. I found a nice Dodge Avenger 98' with a 2.5L V6. I thought these cars are supposed to be fast, but with a 2.5L V6, that doesn't seem like a big engine. Anyone know anything about that? I am looking for a sporty car that can go quick. Anyone got any other suggestions for me to look at? Post your replies because I need a car within 2 weeks or so. Thanks guys.

sorry to hear that. Can't you use the $10,000 you have or half of it as a down payment? You could get into a '98-'00 GTP with about 34,000 miles or less with prices ranging from $11,500 - $16,000.

Check out the Intergra GS-R
In your price range that might work out good. Or a used Gs-t Ecipse or something like that.

The GTP's around here are only 97' and have high mileage. They wanted $10K for a '98 with 93,000 miles. I want lower mileage. I don't want to take out another loan. My insurance just doubled because of the accident. I saw a 98' GTP with 60,000 miles and wanted it, but someone already bought that. I found some nice Mustangs I want to look at, but I have to wait for my friend to pick me up to go and look. I have about $8500 for a down payment and may take a $3000-4000 loan to get something. I wanted to get an Eclipse, but I haven't seen any under $15000 around here. I found a Grand Prix GT 99' with 41000 miles for $9900 and it's the color I want too. I will probably check that out. I used carfax and it said it was owned by a private owner and then was registered as a fleet car. What does that mean?
Thanks for the help

That sucks, i totaled my GA with 22,200 miles on it, then the ruined rims kept me from still owing money on the car, that was in july 02' though
