View Full Version : problem removing steering wheel airbag

i know that there are 2 t30 torx bits holding the steering wheel airbag assembly on to the wheel but when i go to unscrew them its almost like its a shallow headed screw and the torx bit just slips over the top of the grooves.
i held the ratchet against the screws as hard as i could and i had a friend hold it against them but it still just slips over the top.
don't think that their stripped, i hope...

all there is and pretty much the only thing that will fit in there to get the screws out is a t30 screwdriver. i bought one for like 4 buckds from sears.
i did this all in a junkyard car with the rearview mirror so i coulkd see in the holes.
