Engine lite up

I want to light up my engine bay with some type of red lights weither its led's or neons. Any suggestions on what to buy from where and what location to put them in for the best glow out of the bay

do you have a strut tower brace. That would be the best spot IMO.

iv thoguht about hanging some off of that before but idk....seeign the source of the lighting is teh lossness. unless you have a wider brace.....then maybe

yea but other than that spot idk where to put one. i dont have a stb but it would seem to me that it would be the only place to attach it to something. im not sure without looking at, 1)how big the LED strip is and 2) where possible mounting points are.

ya i get your point, it would be one of the easier places.
i was thinking like facing rewards just above the fans..... idk tho, might get awfully hot

LEDs don't like heat so be careful of your placement, also cold cathodes done like extreme cold so be aware of that as well. I did have some red leds in there at one point (will probibly do again), but make sure they aren't right by a major source of heat.

I have a couple of 9" neons at the top of the radiator and a 15" or 18" on my strut tower brace.

I don't have any good close up shots of them. This one also shows the neons in the grill.
