Hello I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT and I have noticed that my "Low Trac" light dows not come on when the traction control is limiting wheel spin, or when the ABS is in effect. You may ask if the traction conrtol is really on, and yes it is. Driving in ice I feel it up shift and cut enging performance to gain more traction. When the car start and the instrument cluster does the guage sweep the Low Trac light does illuminate so I know the bulb is not out. I know my Airbag light is on because I need a new moduel. But would that effect the Low Trac light? Please Help I use the Low Trac light to help me adjust my driving in different conditions.

u have ice in atlanta?
I would think this to be a module problem, but since the car is still doing it the Main Trac control is working, just not reporting back to the light.

Yes. We get snow in GA some times. Atlanta gets more due to it's closeness to the GA mountains.
