mp racing tuned pcm issue

ok, so i have got this pcm sometime throughout the winter. i had the shift points raised to 6000 rpm, but the only gear i see it working at is in first. second gear it shifts at 5700-5800. these are have been the only 2 gears i have been able to max out lately, so i have no clue as to what the other shift points are, but i was wondering about 2nd gear... is that due to the pcm or something else?

we dont raise shift points to 6k unless requested...

in your case you arent cammed or have ported heads with supporting hardware so for us to have raised your shift points to 6k could potentially cause some damage as well there is basically nothing to gain @ 6k rpm with a stock cam.. in fact with your current mods and shifting at 6k you would likely have higher 1/4 mile times..

you say your 1-2 shift is getting up to 6k.. sounds like you are seeing the trans slip to 6k since your 1-2 and 2-3 are set to shift at the same RPM (5750 in your case)

also all the PCMs we mod are setup custom to the mods done to the vehicle and per customer request... so unless the customer requests such we just change the shift points based on the info we are given about the cars mods
