both rear regulators are screwed over in my grand am and i was looking at some on ebay and they are ridiculously cheaper than buying it from an autoparts store...would this be a bad choice?

Buyer be warned! They're dirt cheap for a reason. I bought one that said it fit my car, and it didn't.

Some fit, some dont.

Some work backwards, some work correctly.

Some the motor works perfect, some it sounds like it is going to die the second you go to use it. I have bought I think 4 off ebay and none have ever worked 100% correctly.

I would advise you to stay away from them. :angel

I got mine from a company called directauto. They also sell on ebay with the same seller name. Their ebay prices are much cheaper then their website. They offer a lifetime warranty and they honor it.

I just had to replace my replacement regulator after two years due to the plastic guides starting to crack (again). You only pay shipping one way on a warranty replacement.

yeah i just got mine the other day and installed it and its working fine except i think a fuse is blown cause i can roll the window down from the front drivers side controls but not from the controls in the back. Im gonna try to replace it soon.

question-do all grand am rear windows not roll all the way down or am i doing something wrong? i wouldnt know since the window was broken since i bought the car

If you didnt properly install, test run and lubricate the window slides with silicone. you will have this happen. after putting in ALL nuts for the window, motor and regulator mount in, you must make sure that there is no binding or rubbing on the window before tightening all the bolts.
i paid $39.99 + shipping ($20.00?)for mine, motor and regulator.
i was quoted by GM over $400.00 for both
cheaper to by the one off ebay and get your window re-tinted!!!!!hahaha

If your main switch is not working or plugged in - none of the other switch will not work.
