Well I didn't post the sounds but I did post if anyone had clips like a week or 2 ago. Maybe some day vicious or whatever will make a nice and neat vid clip of all exhaust sounds. That would dramatically help in the event of us Exhaustless members to choose which one suits us best. They already have of a vid at DTP.com but no Borla and not a clear slp. Vicious always has cool vids though so I hope in the near future thay do this:wow:

Sometime after we move, get settled in, get windows reinstalled again because it's likes to be gay, and the software installed I will try getting a good video of my SLP, in the cabin and out!

I've got two sound clips of dual magnaflows, one's mine and ones from before the site crashed. Can anybody upload these to their website so I can link them in my subscript? More exhausts the better!

Ash, have you talked with GrandAmRamAir...to see if he will host it for you? I have the one sound clip...I bumped up the volume even more. I could go louder with it, but that's when it seems to start to distort (just too much bass to be amplifying), even with a Velodyne 15" sub!

I haven't had a chance to talk with him (been busy), but if we can get it up there you can link it.

Yeah it's not the fastest site out there...that's for sure. I think there are still some network problems with them.

I would love to get a nice shell set up to host the movies on a fast connection. Oh well...not my site. :)

still, every piece of footage is worth the wait. i have them all saved in a folder on my comp, so i can watch all of them anytime i want w/o waiting, plus i have some that they don't hvae up anymore that i still have saved! so that's cool!

I'd be very sceptical about Borla #2 on tshboys last post. I didn't re-check but it sounds like the clip they offer on borla's site. If I am correct about that they use the same clip for the Firebird, Corvette, Mustang, Viper, and God knows what else :) haha Of course maybe all their exhausts sound alike? haha Can someone verify if the tone of their Borla exhaust is similar to that of Clip #2? Danke.

P.S. The SLP clip doesn't do it any Justice!

Yeah, none of those sound clips give a very good impression of the sound. One video of the SLP (Might have been Brian's, dunno?) from viscious did a very good job. I should have two clips of the mags on GrandAmRamAir's site soon, and I'll put a link in my subscript once it's up and running.

Yeah the SLP exhaust video on GrandAmRamAir's site (www.dropthepedal.net) is the best sound by far. Though it is the video it still does it 10x more justice than the sound clip provided.

Ahhhh I can't wait I need to get the SLP. I need it bad. My roommate has a 73 Mustang with a 302 in it with a 3 inch exhaust, sounds so bad. I wanna be just half as loud and I would love it. heheheheh- We are dropping a 400 in the stang. gonna be sweet-almost rebuilt. I can't wait for the dining room table to not be a parts shelf.

Does anybody have a soundclip for the flowmaster series 80? If not, is it louder,deeper then the sound clips posted on this post? DOes the flowmaster give you the same or about the same horsepower gains?

Just so you know Borla uses the same exhaust clips for different cars :tool:'s I don't see why they do that... Pretty corny. If I am going to spend $600 or $700 for their exhaust i would like to know how it really sounds :rolleyes:

Hmmmm, I kinda like the sounds of the Flowmaster 80 as a much lower cost alternative to the Borla. The SLP is just a bit too raspy for me. Maybe in a couple months....Christmas??

the cars that these slp and borla exhaust are on . are there other things done to either car that would affect the sounds for each??. i 'd like to hear what borla/slp/flowmaster/magaflow sound like on stock 3.4 engines. they are a wee short too. like the sound of the borla less hiss or sputter etc.

thanks ajaxus. good download. i listen to them atleast ten times each. borla sounds really good i would say medium to max, throat v-6 sound... slp not as good hints of ( wisping )or sputter sounds as i describe it on the back flow. flowmaster 80 on stock car sounds much closer to a SMALL v-8 more throaty. i like it the best so far. flowmaster 80 with resonator removed very close to the same as flowmaster on stock, except maybe a wee bit louder. but still sounds very good. what i don ' t hear in any of the clips is which sets gives you and when in the rpm range that anoying back fire or crackling noise when it push it to the max. best way i can describe things here. i could not down load the magnaflow. and it had other engine mods anyways. like to keep to added mufflar to stock car threme. thanks for clips guys.

Old thread back to life....I just bought a SLP muffler (same one in the kit) and my exhaust now is borla catback without restonatr with 2.5inch pipes (change the 2.25inch piping) ZZP 2.5ich downpipe, magnaflow highflow cat and grand prix GXP tips. with this SLP muffler be louder than my borla one?
